ALASKA BOUND ITINERARY

July 01 Sailing round-trip from San Francisco opens up the possibility of spending extra time to enjoy all The City has to offer. Sail under the Golden Gate Bridge on your way to America's Last Frontier.

July 02 At Sea. A great day to explore Golden Princess and discover all she has to offer.

July 03 At Sea. A day to relax and just watch the world go by.

July 04 Juneau, Alaska. The most cosmopolitan city along the inside passage, Juneau is also packed with history, a delightful shopping district and beautiful scenery. You can go on a glacier expedition via helicopter or take a floatplane trip over the Juneau Ice field.

July 05 Skagway, Alaska Few one-time boomtowns retain the flavor of the gold rush days like Skagway. This gateway to the Klondike is preserved as a national historic park with its rustic boardwalk and frontier-style storefronts. Due to its geographic location, Skagway enjoys a drier climate compared to the rest of southeastern Alaska, with an average annual precipitation of only 22 inches. Possessing one of the oldest narrow-gauge railroads in the world, Skagway retains the flavor of days gone by and remains an important link to Alaska's rich history.

July 06 Glacier Bay, Alaska. This is what you come to Alaska for, glaciers, glaciers and more glaciers. southeast of, this spectacular glacier-carved fjord has sheer vertical walls that clearly showcase nature's artistry. Linger in this magical place to watch blocks of ice calving off the glaciers towering faces.

July 07 Ketchikan, Alaska. If you’re in search of a truely unique adventure, try our fly-in sport fishing excursion to a pristine wilderness lake deep in the Tongass National Forest. Go canoeing, kayaking, or take a floatplane tour over Misty Fjords.

July 08 At Sea. Time for a massage and a day at the Spa.

July 09 Victoria, BC. This morning we dock in Victoria, the cultural and political capital of British Colombia and a proud bastion of the vanished British Empire. Shop for linens, woollens, take high tea at the Empress or stop by a pub for a pint and a game of darts. Explore the thirty five acre Butchart Gardens or see Craigdarroch Castle and Anne Hathaway's Cottage of Shakespearean fame. There's plenty of time to stroll through town, to explore the Empress Hotel and to shop for British imports.

July 10 At Sea. Some days to enjoy the Golden Princess and the many people you have met.

July 11 Return to San Francisco. WOW, what an adventure! I want to go again next year!
